Hello, first post on this board. Some may know me from other ford truck sites (FTE, FTW, OFS, oilburners, FSB, FSP...).
Figured i join another ford truck site. Name is Rob and i have 2 Pre's, an 88 F-350 and a 93 F-150.
My 88 is a F-350 Custom RCLB 4x4 7.3 IDI/ZF 5 speed on 315/75/16's (stock suspension). Few tweaks to the IDI and a full sound system. Its my DD usually and work/play truck. this truck with the 35 pulls 16-22 mpg with all the power id need.
My 93 is a F-150 XLT RCLB 4x4 300/E4OD. i have a pretty stout lil 6 with headers, cam, ported intakes, 351 throttle body, ingintion tweaks and a few other odds n ends. The E4OD was fully rebuilt by me to hold up to about 400 RWHP. I also swapped in a 79 Dana 44 solid axle which gave me about 5" of lift. Truck wears a Cervini's ram air hood, smoothie Ford front bumper, clear lights up front, custom paint using Ford colors and for now 33" ProComp MTs on American Racing Nitro 147 wheels. Had a full stereo but robbed most of it for my 88 as the 93 is a work in progress. Also dolled up the interior with some color matched pieces an stuff. Owned this truck since i was 16, now 24 so i know it inside and out.
Folks around my way call me the ford truck guru, i dont know why
. i also roll a 66 mercury comet 202 with a 390/C6 thats slowly becoming a sleeper. my dad also has a twin to my 93 in almost everyway but his is stock...95 F-150 XLT RCLB 4x4 300/E4OD. He has it since new and wasa the reason i bought my 93. also my friends have a 87 F-250, 89 F-350, 95 F-250 and 96 F-150 respectivly. the 95 F-250 is a high roller with 9" of lift and 40s, the 96 has a SAS with 9" lift and 38.5 boggers i helped build both.
