Whats it worth?

Well ive been pondering about selling the bronco to get a 250 or 350 4x4 with a PSD.

Love this truck but with me hauling around the fourwheeler to the dunes and back, hooking up the trailer, having the smelly gas cans inside my truck and getting high off fumes the whole 3 hour trip is kinda a PITA...

Now i pull more times than i do off roading and ive always wanted a diesel myself... Also i have a chance of buying my pops truck off him.

But first of all i want to know what you guys think i could get for my truck. I know im going to have to use some KY jelly because im going to loose my arse on it.. But heres some details

1995 Bronco
E4OD
92K original on the truck
8K on the new motor
Rust on the tailgate ( i could buy a new tailgate and probably sell it for more)
Runs excellent, drives excellent with the new steering box
Tires have about 40 percent tread life left
Newer brakes and steering links
Stereo system
off road lights
trans temp gauge
Very clean interior
Everything works

Ive seen trucks like mine or in worse shape bring almost 5K But i was shooting for 4,500..

Not saying im going to sell it! But i might put it up for sale just to see what kind of bites i get for it.. The price i come up with is the price im selling it for. Definatly not being jewed down because simply i dont have to part with it. Just lookin to get something to fit my needs a little bit better.

Heres a couple pics. Just shoot me your price LOL

5k ? just thinking out loud..

I'd give you $1500 for it. They arent worth alot here.

Edmunds puts the value at just under $2,000...

How much money do you NEED to get into a truck like your looking for.

If you want $4500, think it is worth $5000 then list it for $5750 and let someone think their getting a hell of a deal at $5000. Never know, might find yourself making more then you thought from it.

I have been shopping pretty heavily the past couple weeks. And with the economy its defiantly a buyers market. I could get a really nice truck for 5k

your saying like yours is a bad one.. yours is a nice one.. check someone who wants to trade.. maybe someones needs a bronco and not their truck anymore.. something like that

like me i found a guy who just loved the truck and used the excuse to his wife that he needed it for towing his boat... the boat could fit in the bed for crying out loud.. lol
i sold mine 2400$ for a 1990 250Kmiles on the clock with a 20K miles on a rebuild tranny

Keep in mind that 'buyers markets' and 'sellers markets' are inversely proportional. Yes trucks are very cheap right now but that also means YOUR truck would sell for cheap too... If you're selling a vehicle to buy a new one with the cash you won't get a fantastic deal one way or the other. The only way someone can really score in this market is if they're buying a vehicle straight up.

it would get about 5k here. being that it is in fairly good condition

5k here too would be a fair price.

side question...if you don't like the gas cans in your bronco, y not put them on the trailer? am i missing something?

EDIT: just saw ryan said 4k. we live relatively close to eachother. i could see listing for 5250, or 5000 and hoping to get 4500 out of it.

I have a snowmobile trailer and if i wanted the cans on the trailer id have to probably somehow strap them to the fourwheelers. At that with 2 ATVs is cramped.. Also with a trailer id have to drive a little under the speed limit, instead of throwing it in the back and be able to do the speed limit or a little over. But im just bablin...

I guess il post it on the local craigslist and see what offers or if any offers i get.

good call. craigslist is great for that. you're not under any contract or anything, so if you didn't want to sell you can just not respond to an email.

good way to test the water

or just get you one of these external gas can carriers, it will haul 2 5 gallon cans, as well as a cooler on top! connects to your receiver hitch!
