I own a 68 ford f100 and i really would like to know why my tires bark when i turn? For instance if i bust a U turn, my tires chrip constantly and im barley touching the gas.lol. I dont think its posi.

sounds like a locker (Detroit Locker?) sharp turns "drag" the inside wheel
Posi units allow slippage and this doesn't occur.

Oh, and they're trying to ban lockers just for that reason, accidents have happened by people with lockers (that don't know how to drive!!!) spinning out in the rain. Every truck I have owned had a traction aid in the diff. No one tire fires here!!

Yea i was fish tailin in the rain getting on the hwy the other day and scared the shiet outa me.lol. I learned real fast to coast through turns.
