What goes under this screw? Could someone with a Ranger see if you have this screw and tell me whatever you can about it?

Mine is/was a '97 2.3 manual.

Holds the clutch MC reservoir to the fender on my '97 2.3 manual.

Awesome! That's it! I have a 302/AOD now, so no pic is needed, but thanks for the offer That little screw has had me puzzled for about a week now as I finish up my engine swap... I couldn't remember what went there, and was hoping it wasn't important, lol.

I think your 302/AOD should run just fine without a clutch reservoir.
