Its a 79 f150 4 wheel drive. It has a 302. with a granny low 4 speed. 35inch boggers. He says the interior is good condition. No rust or dents. What do yall think its worth.

Around here...guys are asking for something around $2250-2800 for a truck like that, and are getting somewhere around $2000.

^^^Damn son...I'm cheap, and prices are low here...but a grand, really? Those Boggers alone ar $1500...and that sheet metal looks pretty good from the pics.

If those tires come with it u might want to put that price tag at 2800.00$ unless the motors blown and the trannys busted. But im not a picky buyer trucks are getting harder to find around here.

Hes asking $1800. And the boggers look pretty new.

Geezus...that low of a price sends up red flags to me and makes me wonder why he's trying to unload it at that price. And before a thorough inspection, I wouldn't plan on it being a solid runner. As is, the stock engine isn't there...and why? But purely on the fact it's priced so low, if I were to buy it, I'd do so with the expectations of it being a project, and or parting it out. That said, I never find the smoking deals...so maybe you're just luckier than I am. But a thorough inspection and test drive would be essential before any cash changed hands.

Round the 352 area, trucks are rode hard. Very hard. We have no less than 4 local mud holes within an hour's drive, and that truck gives me the impression that it's been to one of them a few times.

Yea, tires can look great, but doesn't mean they are. The Goodyear Wrangler I have as my spare for the F100 has 75% tread, but it's pretty much useless due to dry rot.

Of course of course. He said hes hurtin for money. But you never know. I will deff. do a good inspection on it. Look for anything funny. Its also right down the road, so its not like a big trip to take a look at it.

A 302 motor? Might want to check the valve cover bolts, 6 is 302 and 8 is a 351M or 400. A 302 was not offered in this particular year/combination of truck. Not saying it can't be done but putting a 302 in one of these trucks would be a real pain to do.

Is it a mud truck? How's the guy drive it? How does he maintain it? I'm gonna start at round $1,000 and that's being generous.

Shaun, that's insane.....$1000 can hardly buy you a rusted out pos four banger car that's 1-15 years old with 180k miles on it, even in this economy!

I think Ben is more in line with price and I thought he was even being a little low balling.....I was thinking $2500-3k and the fact that he's offering $1800 throws up some huge red flags!!! If it's running, and the guy needs the money, it would be gone already.

Ken, as I said in my post, trucks are ridden pretty hard down here, and they're usually put away wet. It looks nice, but so does my F100, and it runs like crap.

It's impossible to set a price until we know everything about the truck.

I have very strict standards on my trucks. Except for the F100. It got by easily, but $400 dollars was too good a deal for very little rust.
