wow they actually aint that bad..

and the rotator Ratchet is the one im only using.. you can spin the handle to break the plugs loose but once broke loose you can spin it and itll pop right out..

the back plugs im fixing to do them... they aint that bad..

the hardest part is getting the plug wires to cooperate.

yours must somehow have more room... cuz my brothers you can just barely get a socket and ratchet onto the plugs between the engine and the firewall... his is literally crammed in there... sometimes its even hard just getting hands down behind his engine...

2 frickin hours to change plugs...another reason I don't own a chevy. Pretty sure I'd kick myself in the balls if I had a rig that a plug change took more than 30 mins.

i personally dont use universal joints if at all possible cause its hard to gauge how tight your getting it...

so when im changing plugs i never use it..

ohh believe me i understand that... i only use them when im taking the old plugs out and screwing the new ones in by hand... when i get them screwed down by hand i pull the uni off and pop the ratchet down there to tighten...

How is it any tougher than not using one? I use universals all the time, like say when there's a pesky cross member blocking a tranny pan or oil pan bolt, among lots of other scenarios. Am I missing something?

just as far as how tight your getting the bolt. i just dont feel comfortable doing it. to me it seems like if you get the u-joint turned a lil bit your loosing a lil bit of torque through that bend. but thats just me...

Oh...I thought you meant there was like a general consensus or something, and I had never heard of it.

Oh my goodness... two words man. Ford Aerostar.

One of the most reliable long lasting vehicles on the road but getting to the rear plugs through the doghouse in the floorboard... oh that's a bear.
