I was going to offer excuses about it being cheaper, etc....

But after looking at it, I totally agree. If you spend that much time and money to do it... Why not use a Ford block? Oh that's distasteful!

Power is cheap in a small block chevy... and TH350 is a better transmission than a C4...

What would it have otherwise? a 302?

With out a top and doors the season of use would be short in Canada.

I didn't read the description. If I knew it had a chev in it I would have never posted. I'd be able to drive it from May till October. Then I would have to put mittens on for the rest of the year.
