vin help

i need to check a vin# and have no idea how, i tried but it says i need more numbers. it is x26sk13e4994

Oops wrong section meant for dent section!

theres only 12 digits there.. a pre 1980 had 13.

most site only look up 17 digit post 81 vins.

Could that "13" actually be a "B"? As stated earlier, there are one too many digits in the VIN. BE 4994 puts it in the 1978 serial number range.
