Video of my Ranger with new dual exhaust...

.

Just a quick video of my Ranger and it's new dual exhaust. Shorty headers, 2.5" pipe, Flowsound mufflers (ripoff FlowMasters), then 2.25" tailpipes to the back bumper. The exhaust is hidden in the back and dumps right at the lower edge of the bumper.

It's a fun truck to drive so far.

The video could be better, but it was getting close to dark...

It's not like stupid fast or anything, but it does move along quite well. It's cool when just driving normal also because it seems to move so effortlessly now compared to the 4 banger/5 speed that was in it.

I'll try to get some burnout vids soon. It can fry the tires real quick and without much effort, although it's still got an open diff. Poor 7.5" in the rear is hating life...

I'm happy with the swap, everything has turned out nice. A few of the small details that I like are...

Fuel injection works!
All factory gauges work (tach still reads high, I need to fix it yet.)
The "check engine" light works
The engine starts only when the trans is in "P" or "N"
The reverse light work.
Install appears close to factory. People who don't know better would think it's all stock.

Everything works like it would from the factory.

It's just the true duals. I read some article before comparing different exhausts with dyno numbers, and the true dual had a few more HP than the h-pipe system. I doubt I would notice a few HP either way, so I kept it simple.
