upgrading interior body clips

Has anyone experimented with replacing gen 6 interior body panel clips with newer plastic clips

I tried a few years ago but the clips I had (the cheap replacements from Oriellys that were leftovers from my 96 f250) the head of the clip was to big to fit the panel properly. I'm sure some brands will fit better than others tho.

I found the replacement clips at fastenal for .10 a peace. The guy working there had never sold any before..lol

i just put the passanger side panel on the other day with oriely 454660p. they fit and worked well
