I don't need it but desirability depends on what it is Brad.

The front ring that has the starter cup on it is more valuable than the trans. That's the 1/2 bell adapter the guys are always looking for when swapping a trans for something newer. They regularly go for $50 or more on ebay The rest of the bell unbolts from the trans case and also has some value as the clutch release rod goes thru that section.

From the PTO cover on the side, I'd say it's probably a granny 4 spd with straight cut gears the needs double-clutching. Number on the side would be 59T-7009. I have one on my shop floor. You can't even give them away.

IF however, you scrape off the grease on the pass side and find numbers T-87-D it's a 3 spd HD and has some value as those are synchro'd gears.

Also, it has an F2 or larger mount on the rear. Is that pickup an F2 or F3? Ford didn't use that rear mount in the F1's.

Tim, it is an F2 or 3....I never looked any further than seeing it has 8 lig wheels. Did you see the picture of the truck I posted in the 'While I was at the body shop' thread?

Borg Warner T-87D: 1948/52 F1/F5 / 1953/56 F250/500.

2nd/3rd gears are syncro, 1st gear is not.

The only 3 speed all syncromesh trans is the Ford type 3.03. Introduced in 1963, used in some: 1963/80 Passenger Cars; 1963/83 F100's; 1975/86 F150's; 1963/72 F250's; 1965/87 Econolines and 1966/77 Bronco's.
