Working on replacing the rear main seal on the '87, I rounded off one of the T/C nuts trying to get it off. Any way to get in there and get the nut off? Or do I need to get the exhaust out of the way to get something bigger on it?

They make stripout sockets the have teeth to grab after the hex has been rounded off. Sears sells a decent set or you can go snap-on little more money though. They usually work everytime.

If you've got room, you can drive on an old 12 point socket.
