Timing, Distributor issues

I am at my wits end: 96 250 4x4 super duty 7.5 liter, replaced oil pump, and then sheared the pins on 2 distributors. Broke down and took it to Ford dealer, spent $1000 for new MAF and another new distributor. They claimed rod was incorrect size. Truck ran for about an hour and now will not start. Any ideas?
Already spent too much money on this truck.

Were there any issues while it was running, such as running rough, missing, etc.?

When I was chasing a distributor issue, my coil had also gone out making it not start all the time.
