i just recently put a new cam and lifters and push rods in my 86 351w. 500 lift on the cam. hydrylic lifters and factory length rods. and i got a chatter out of the heads. so i went and bought a roller rocker and installed them. i have one that is still chattering. if you take the valve cover off and push down on the rocker that is making the noise it will stop. so does that mean that the lifter isnt pumpin up? what is a fix for it? do i need to tear it down and put another set of lifters in it? or can i put alittle longer push rod in it? please and thank you for any input
