Thinking about selling the 77 F

Thinking about selling the 77 F, I feel bad because it just sit in the garage I drove it around a little this weekend but I think the truck deserves a better home.

so I'll take application from people who maybe interested in giving my baby a new home.

1. must be parked indoors

2. driven at least 25 miles a month.

3. will promise to wax at least two times a year

4. will send a photo every once awhile so I can see how she is doing.

5. whoever offers the most will get serious consideration in the application process.

6. no offers less then $7000 will be accepted

speedo shows 38,000

pops bought the truck for grandpa, then gave me the truck a few years back.

but I think mom drove it for a few years way back when, so I really think it has more miles on it then that, but pops was a freak and had it painted twice and anything it needed got replace or repaired. He was also a Ford parts manager so he had the hook ups. I just dont drive it and makes no sense for it to sit in my garage.

Ed that truck is part of your family man. You can't sell it.

i know , i know, but I feel bad that I dont drive it, I just dont want it to just sit. I did say I was thinking about it. still on the fence
but I do need to pay some bills. I got way to many vehicles. I told my youngest daughter she could have it for her 16th b-bay but I think she is scared its to nice and doesn't want to be responsible for it. So maybe the Subaru for her.

1. 2001 Ridley Speedster SS1 (for sale)

2. 1990 Subaru Legacy

3. 1973 6X6 Styer-Puch 712M Pinzgauer (for sale)

4. 1995 Ford escort (oldest daughters) 18 and still doesn't have license and hates the car. so this one is up for sale also.

5. 1996 jeep grand Cherokee (I will use when Pinz sells)

6. 1977 F100 (maybe for sale)

7. 2005 Ford Freestyle (wifes)

plus I get a demo to drive back and forth to work so I can't drive all of them and they are all insured and tags are current.

what to do, what to do.

Always a Ford Guy
I just bought my dad's truck back 26 years after he sold it, I wanted it then, but I didn't have the money then. but now it's mine and I couldn't be happier.Don't sell it, it seems to have a history with you and if you sell it, you may never get another chance to get it back. I was lucky to get this one back and now it's back to the original colors and a new lease on life.

Rust is a non-issue up here. Every one of the mid-west/east coast guys that comes to visit can't believe the number of older, rust-free cars and truck driving around.

Nice truck, BTW.

it has only been up here in Washington for the last 4 years, was bought and raised in So Cal. Always been garaged too. No rust, few small dings and scratches runs real real nice, but I been getting a fuel spell the last few times I drove it, real bad after parking it. checked the charcoal canister and the hose going to it, that seems OK. It flooded easy a few times so the diaphragm in carb may need to be replaced. Just more money to spend on something I don't drive much.

but you are right, I'll keep the truck fix the small crap and give it to my youngest kid for her 16th b-day, that way it stays in the family and I can stop torturing myself about what to do with it.

We will Rise Again
That's one nice truck ED. I understand the feelings you have about not driving it much, but I do think you'd regret every minute after you sell it, especially if you saw it later and it was all rusted out or beat to hell. That's one of the nicest original trucks I've seen. Good Luck with your decision.
