the 1st 1/2 day home

good day every one,i almost forgot i fooled around for hrs trieing to figure out why the truck wouldnt turn over when i got home the starter relay on the fire wall just made a grinding sound but nothing at the starter tested relay [changed out any way] nothing replaced battery [nothing] boosted [nothing] bench tested starter [good] finaly figured it out for some reason the inner fender was not grounded and the relay needs to be grounded to work! ran a 10 ga wire from the fender to the engine and works good now i think there is supposed to be a stock braided wire that grounds the fenders to the chassis that is missing? had me scratching my head all right regurds joe

Only 10 gauge wire? I imagine you need a lot heavier wire for that starter solenoid-- perhaps I'm wrong on that.

You can also get the braided straps in the Help! section at a local parts store.
