If, uh, you blow up the powertrain...I kinda need a lot of those rust-free parts.

Not a spot of corrosion under this truck.

They had awesome seats, too. My '09 isn't anywhere near as comfortable as my '97, even with the extra-cost buckets.

How many vehicles does a dude your age actually need?

Ryan

I got it for running around and doing chores around the house. Makes it easier when the fuel economy is higher than 10 mpg. :D I'm thinking about using it to deliver pizza in, too, to keep the miles off of my Mark.

To bad its not 4wd
I like the 97 model nice looking truck.

I kinda wanted 4x4, but around here you only use it when you deliberately go off road.

This truck is pretty dang comfortable - just like my Explorer.

nice little Ford truck Austin, must get good mileage! will it be your run around?

Thanks Roy. It will be my run around/chore truck. Gonna try to run the Lincoln less.

Haha. Im sure it is not a matter of need as much as it is a matter of youthful impulsiveness. We all had it to some extent when we were younger. Some just grew out of it sooner than others. I say if you have money to waste, waste it on whatever you want.

Cool purchase. I had to put an alternator in mine on Monday. WTF were the engineers smoking that day?
