Tech A says leaking fuel injectors may cause fuel supply pressure to drop when the engine is off................Tech B says fuel supply pressure will drop with the engine off if the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line is disconnected. Who is correct? A) tech a....... B) tech B......C) Both......D) neither

I'll say Tech A, because it makes sense to me. It doesn't seem right the the vacuum line off would cause it. Of course, I'm pretty sure I'm wrong because that's my record to date with Vince's questions. :)

Tech B... Final Answer..

Neither. The regulators purpose is to prevent OVERpressure situations, not to act as a backflow preventer, and when the engine is off, there is no vacuum, anyway.
