Tail lights stopped working

I've got a 67 f100, 352 2-brl, manual steering and brakes.
Recently my stop lights just stopped working, tail lamps work fine, and so do signals, I replaced both bulbs, but however, depressing the brake pedal does nothing. I replaced the brake pedal switch and checked the fuse.. still they don't work, also reverse lamps do work.

check the wiring plug on the steering colum. the brake lights run threw the turn signal switch. that way one can blink when the other is a stop light
