85 Ford F-150 302ci Fi
I've got a 85 f-150 with a 302 w/fi I'm putting a 87 302 w/fi in and need to know if there's any big difference's between 87 and the 85 motors other then the serpentine belt. I know that earlier fords used different control modules on the ignitions (different colors on the plugs) would that be a factor on these year motors? Also with the fuel injection, is there any difference between these 2 years? I'm hoping I can just pull out the old motor and after doing a visual inspection between the 2 motors, swap over whatever hook-ups are different. Would this be an easy swap, or am I opening a can of worms that's going to haunt me? any input will be much appreciated. Thanks, Al
