Supercab quarter window question

Ok I have a SC with pop out rear windows and would like non pop outs. I need to know how to take the pop out window "hinges" off without damaging the cab (I bent the crap out of my old cab getting the pop out windows out of it).

Second part of my question is the two holes/slits in the cab where the hinges were will be empty with non pop out windows. Will the gasket for the non pop out windows cover and seal those two holes? I dont want them left open to be a rust breeding ground.

Heres a picture of the hinge. Right at the tip of the arrow from "hinge assembly" are tabs ( on both sides) that have to be compressed.
The tabs just hold on the back side of the sheet metal and are plastic.

I'm not real sure about the holes beeing covered by the new seal but I would bet they would be.

Thanks!! I bent the cab getting them out of my old cab and didnt want to do it to this one as well. The PO gave be a box of parts that has new seals in it but I havent gotten to see what kind of seals are there. Hoping for fixed window but at the very least I can replace them and put the better set of windows in mine now that I know how to get them off.
