sounds good but i dunno if thats the cam... i think maybe a vacuum leak when you first start it??


a cammed 351W even a small cam would not do 0-60 in 9 seconds.. ask conanski!

here how mine sounded when i had the MAP vacuum line unplugged then i plugged it back in at 1.30 see the difference?? maybe your has a smallll leak.. chek it out to be shure



chek that vacuum line for leaks.. NOW I DONT SAY IT DOESNT HAVE A CAM I DIDNT BUILD IT! but chek it just to make sure... since you have that hesitation at start up.. or even a MAP sensor going bad there..

no its got perfect vacuum seals on everything. and what do you mean wouldnt do 0-60 in 9 secs. its got 3.08s in the rear. thats killing it.

the F250 i had had 4.10 with 33' tyres and is heavier that his f150 did it in 9 seconds..

You boys really are slow. Holy hell, I never considered my rides fast, but compared to the times you guys are saying, I'm definitely glad I don't have any SB's. That being said, I bet I see alot more gas stations too...and I start losing major steam in the Bronco at 83mph, in Red at 76mph and in Thunder right around 80...so my top end sucks and more than likely I'd get my turds smashed in, in a top end race.

Well I thought you were saying it would be slower, I thought 9 seconds was pretty good.

But yes those gears will kill the 60ft time, and with 3.08's the truck is only using the first two gears in a 0-60 run so acceleration will be slower than it could be.

Needless to say, I'm slightly more hopped up than that...but nothing spectacular. The Bronco's 400 is relatively stock on 35's and 3.55's making it an effective ratio of 3.08...the reason I think it has a slightly better top end. Red's 400 is pretty nice and is on 37's with 4.88's and at last check was 0-60 in 7.2.

That's only about 500 lbs more than my truck. Which reminds me...wanted to get them all weighed at CAT scales. I'm basing that number off a junk yard scale when empty.
