Sending PM's.

Hey guys I have a little question to ask, the other day me and buddy here were shooting pm's back and worth and I was wondering why is there a one minute wait?
I know its not a earth shattering deal or any thing just more of a slight inconvenience, is there any way to lessen it or is it there for a reason?

My guess is, to keep people from spamming. Or spamming as quick anyway...



I do agree though, 15-30seconds seems like plenty of time to me.

Well you can send pm's to more then one person at a time so I don't see how it would in any way help to stop or slow spamming...
But i'll wait for a ADDy or MOD to answer i'm sure theres some reason or maybe its just a default setting

Yeah Tex...I've noticed the same thing...and there's also a 30 second wait for threads. It's really not a big deal, and I'm not in such a rush that I feel it needs to be changed...but sometimes it irks me. Just thought I'd share, and I wondered the point behind waiting as well.

Spammers. We've had people register with zero posts and just go crazy with the PM's. It lessens the damage when it happens.
