rear axel vent?

Does the rear axle have a vent line and if so where does it go. I looked around for one but couldn't see anything that would indicated a vent line. Both my rear axle seals failed at the same time. Just wondering if my axle is pressurising or something. Thanks.

Been a while since I paid attention.

Sure thought there was a rubber vent hose that came out of the axle and went up to the left (driver's side) frame rail, though. Can't quite picture where it came out of the axle- I'll see if I have a picture that shows it, but I kind of doubt I do.

The rear axle vent threads into the left (drivers) side axle tube, then a short straight pipe threads into the vent. A neoprene hose connects to the pipe, then to a bracket mounted on the L/inner frame rail.

on the left side axle tube beside the u-bolt holding the rear anti-sway bar to the axle is the vent hose going up. mine is zip-tied to the frame, has a small breather on the end of it, dont happent o have a picture of that.
