'87 Ford Ranger 2WD. 2.9L V6, 5 spd manual, factory A/C. 167,000 miles.
Symptoms: Immediately after starting, hot or cold, acts like it's hitting on 4 or 5 cylinders for the first minute or two. Pronounced hesistation when accelerating off of a stop. Everything goes back to normal when it warms up. Usual stuff checks out (oil, water, spark, air filter, etc).
Recent repairs: Distributor, fuel pump, fuel filter, plugs, plug wires. Checked timing, everything seems OK.
TIA
