Just an update on my truck. Finally got the valley pan gasket today and finished the re assembly of the engine!!!! Fired her up adjusted the choke and away she purred. Not a miss, zero vibration, no noisey lifters, valves NOTHING. I really think this engine was changed and that there is very little use on it. The burning coolant has stopped she came up to temp and held it, and zero smoke white or blue from her. I am very excited to actually start the full resto on the truck as i was holding back on ordering parts until i knew for sure i had a solid engine to start with. Thanks for everyones input on the questions i asked it helped me greatly!!!!!
