Question for the Floridians...

What kind on emissions/registration laws will I see down there?

Example - diesel has NO inspections here. I can chop off the muffler right now and turn the pump sky high.

Cars/trucks over 25 require ZERO inspections. I can go full headers if I want on anything over 25 years old.


Because I'm not tied to any guardian or home, I may be forced to make my legal residence in Florida. Just want to make sure I'll be fine registering the truck and sploder.

No inspections here in FL. Open headers can get you a ticket however. The police can 'Inspect" the outside of your vehicle and issue you a ticket for any repair you may need. You get it fixed and prove it at the courthouse and the ticket goes away, with a fine payment of course

Uhm, the registration for that thing is going to be in the vicinity of 100 a year, unless you tell them it's lighter than 5k pounds.
