I got two hi flow Catco cats on my true dual. I am wanting to gut them, but I want to make sure it doesnt effect performance from the empty chamber slowing down exhaust flow, anyway, do you guys know if you can put a piece of 2 1/2 inch piping through them if their a 2 1/2 inlet and outlet? I was thinking this would be the best way in preventing bad flow. Let me know guys.

That's what we did on my cats. Gutted it and ran a pipe right through it, then welded the shell in place so it wouldn't move around. There's no drag from the chamber and it's virtually a straight pipe.

I am sort of sad too tho because I like the sound of gutted cats, but i would rather pick more performance over noise...But its a great idea tho
