Project Cobra Thread.. Part2 ( body work / suspension )

removed the old bed today.. and did the suspension work

installed the DJM drop brackets
then i tried removing spring nr 2 and 4 from the leaf pack to get a little more lower.. but its too loose and too much and as soon as i step in the bed it hits the bumpstops.. to level it out i have to mess with the front end.. wich i dont wanna

soo tomorrow im going to install leaf nr 2 back.. and hopefully it will level it back out..

yess but priceeyyy .. im gonna remove the spacer under the spring that holds the Sway bar.. it should give me 1.5 inch drop there... in front and with the added nr 2 leaf it should level it out

i leved it out today.. i installed all leafs back with the DJM drop shackle and i removed the tick spring ( i think its called overload spring? )

here we go... before only 2 leafs and djm drop brackets... its cool but i have to mess with the front end allot to level it.. and i dont wanna do that now

how its now... with the djm drop brackets and no overload spring..
and im not happy! still not level... im gonna remove leaf nr 4 the shortest one what do you think??

IDK Jurg I would see what kind of wieght transfer you get at the track you may want just a fuzz of rake.
