Bent wheel, locked in 4x4, loose lug nuts, bad cv joints.

I must not of made this clear, this truck when its idleing
and you go to turn the wheels it vibrates tremendously up and
thru the column....
You don't have to be moving, just turn the wheel sitting still,
and it will vibrate......actually it feel like the engine is idleing to
slow to carry the load of the wheel turning....
I hope this is a better explanation of my problem

Thank you, gatrman56:headbang:

Aerated fluid in the p/s pump will do that. Possible pump or steering rack. First step would be to attempt getting the air out. Slowly go lock to lock several times.

smilieIagree smiliewhathesaid There is also an adaptor you can buy and put into the top of the p/s pump to pull a vaccume on it to draw out the air. Rangers and explorers are very sensitive they don't like to have the steering turned when it's not running tends to draw air in and you get the problem your having now.

Vibration 2003 explorer

Ok this damn thing is about to bust my hump !!!!!!!
I've now gone and took all hoses off and blew thru them to make
sure no restrictions and I have none..I have flushed the system 2X's
now and also bled the system NO AIR now......But it still vibrates
I lift it up on my lift in the air with someone sitting in it start the
vehicle and start to turn wheels back and forth and it gets to
shaking real bad up in the air all by itself.....You can't stop it by turning
the wheel you have to shut it off to stop the vibration......

Does anyone have a solution to my predicament or should I let it
vibrate untill it falls of my Cherokee 7500 lift ????????

Air in the system, defective pump, outside chance of a steering rack.
