Please help fix my leaking window

Help i replaced my rear window with a tinted slider and used the same black gu that ya use to change a windsheild but i just can't it to stop leaking 3 times so fare

Welcome to FTF! smilieFordlogo

Sounds like you need to get a new seal for the window. I changed the rear window on my 1979 F250 and never had a problem with leakage even with the original seal.


Also you need to post tech questions like this in the appropriate thread if you expect to get answer.




A mod needs to move this.

Agreed...more than likely what happened was whoever did the install wasn't too careful and trashed your seal.

Your about a bright as a brick, my cat got that joke, please loose the Mr Spock attitude, its annoying and your trying to hard to look smart, makes you sound like a little kid.
If your window is leaking get a new seal for it and that's about it.

Some folks that come here are actually looking for help and obviously aren't as mechanically inclined as you, won't take it as a joke and will try anything suggested. So I was just clarifying that to the OP, because he wouldn't have had to ask what needed to be done if he knew he needed a seal. But as always Mike, you're a great contributor to this site:headbang:
