This obviously would have to be matched to your heads...
performance intake wont do chit with stock heads....
Supercharger wont do chit with stock heads...
Get some good heads first, get them worked on then go to the intake.

I haven't seen any published flow numbers for intakes, but I have seen some impressive power produced with all these intakes. The HO is good for about 300hp naturally aspirated, a bit more with porting. With forced induction that increases to 350hp or so, and the 5.8 truck intake will do similar. Edelbrock made several improvements with the Performer series besides adding more volume, the runners are straighter and more unifrom in the lower section, so 400hp is no problem. The 5.0 truck intake was copied by Holley and I have heard that is capable of supporting 500hp, of course the heads have to be as capable. For the most part there's absolutely no need to even consider altering or changing the truck intakes until better heads are added, assuming more peak HP is your goal. If you want more TQ in the existing truck powerband(0-4000rpm), then the Performer truck intake has value because of it's longer runners, but so does the 5.0HO intake because it will improve air velocity at those rpms compared to the 5.0 truck intake. By the way, there's only about 1/2" difference in total runner length between the stock truck intakes and the HO or Performer intakes, while the Performer Truck runners are 4 inches longer.

Below is a pic of the complete Typhoon next to the 5.8 truck intake, you can see the difference in the height of the lower portion, and the relative overall size.
