Paint Scheme

Hey guys,

Just looking for a few ideas for the paint codes on my red and white 77. my original plans were to get rid of the two tone and just go all red but after seeing pics of Ben's, f*ck that she is staying two tone. ps great job Ben. I thinking about going with chryslers PW7 Bright White for the white but as for the red I have no idea what paint code to go with for the red , any ideas i was something that grabs your attention

HAHA...thanks man. Next time red gets painted, I think I wanna go a brighter white and a brighter red. I think I have the Red narrowed down to a 50's t-bird red...can't remember the code though. And just an FYI...don't put the dingy old nasty trim back on fresh paint...it'll look like crap. So if you don't have the coin to do new trim, do an overlap where the trim would have been. I think the white overlap is 3/16" and the red is 1/4".

I second the trim idea. Fill the holes and put a nice paint line in... and BAM your truck looks hot and you've saved $2000 worth of new trim.

^^^Now it's 2k...when DC first came out with the trim, it was $2600 per side for full racetrack...and they didn't even have the bed side tool box pieces.

And it is all anodized... which doesn't match the chrome grille surround!

There were only 2 reds back in the 50's that I remember

They were Torch Red and Fiesta Red

i not doing the body resto till the summer as i live in Labrador in canada and the temps in the winter get down to minis 50 degres Celsius. I just lookin for when the time comes i know exactly what i want. I am def goin with the chrysler bright white that is 100 percent but i am stuck on what colour red to go with. As for the trim i am tihnkin about goin with just the upper trim that sits in the groove not the full upper and lower section, and whatever goes on her is goin to be new
