Oil pressure sender

I am having a hell of a time finding any good resources on where this is located or what the pressure should be. Please help.

The oil pressure switch is by the oil filter housing and doesn't give a reading as such - it basically tells the dash gauge that there is either pressure or not.
If you connect a aftermarket sender and gauge you should be looking for between 40 - 60 psi at approx 2000 rpm'

Wow. List of things I'm not doing...disconnecting that sensor. It's so far embedded inside everything, I can't even get to it. If I go in, I'm replacing it. Thanks anyways!
