Oil cooler

doing head gaskets on my 08 job 1, I have a question hopefully someone can answer. I am changing out the oil cooler as well. Can you take off the filter head and cover as one piece, or do I have to seperate these to access? I'm new to this forum and I used the thread by blacksnapon quite a bit. Great help. thanx

It's like a 6.0. You remove the outer perimeter bolts, then separate the halves on a bench.

Will due. Never had much to due with either motor, Worked on the bench at a Ford dealer up here for 12 years but changed trades in 2001. This is my own truck. Sure do like it, just trying to make bulletproof. Thanx again Blacksnapon for your help!
