Does Ford still do things like 'shop manuals' for new vehicles? Like with my 77 and 79, they had a couple volumes/catalogs for diagnosing and fixing and schematics and blown up charts and whatnot. I'd really like to get something like that for my Mustang, mainly to understand the car better, right now all I know is I put the key in and it starts. I have a couple brochures and the owners manual and the other standard literature...but are there any other manuals I can pick up?

Hell...I'd even like to get something more than a Haynes and Chilton's for Thunder as well...manuals available for 96?

Pretty sure it's primarily digital now...don't think I've heard of a paper manual being published in recent years

I have seen and used the old paper shop manuals for the mid-90s trucks...I think there were three volumes he had- one was specific to the Powerstroke diesel, one I think was universal F-series stuff (body, interior, etc.), and the third must have been powertrain. I can't remember if the gas mills were covered in that manual, or if you'd need a 460-specific one. My friend that has them bought them from the dealer, with the truck (in '95), to the tune of about $300 I think.

^^^Ebay it is...hahaha. Or I might swing on down to DC's and see if they can't rustle me something up...that is if what I'm looking for even exists. As for the digital stuff...where do I go about accessing that?
