No Paint Code

I know it's a little fuzzy but you can see make it out. Why isn't there a paint code on my VIN sticker?

the code is stamped on the warranty plate

it looks like medium brown metallic behind the sticker

Where did Ford put that on a 78?

That's where it was. Code P. Paintscratch.com says it's a Dark Nectarine Poly (PPG 2931) P (1978)
