recently acquired a 1976 F350 base, 2wd...dont know much about it other than it does not track well on roads, wants to wander left or right. any initial thoughts as to try to analyse before taking to shop?

where to look for worn parts? tie rods, steering box, or??? can anyone tell me how to determine which front-end I have. what to look for? ive been told it could be one of two types, and of course I havent a clue as to what to look for to determine which of the two types. lastly, where is a good source for replacement parts?

most likely tie rods, and for tie rods, just about any parts store.
