Picked this one up for parts for my dad's '96 UpinSmoke but fixed dad's so this one should be safe...

It's a '97 F-250HD PSD, 4x4, Auto, 235,xxx miles, little hard starting when cold but runs and drive pretty good for the miles, only gave 1k for it so I figured we came out alright...

Trying to see if I can find a Miller/Lincoln welder/generator to throw in the back so I can start a mobile welding biz...

I got bored earlier and threw the stage 3 Edge tune on it and flogged it for about a mile, pretty killer for a truck with that many miles. Laid a peg legged stripe without much effort.... Dropped it back down to the tow setting, which is nice for a DD...

Throw some new glow plugs in, and ck the wiring at the back of the engine at the heator. We had a truck where the wires burnt up.

I don't feel like changing glow plugs in another PSD, just got done screwing with the top end of my dad's other PSD...

And I'm fairly certain it's not GP related, I had to steal one battery out of it to get the other Stroke running so I swapped the questionable battery in and it would turn the engine just not fast enough to get it to fire...

With good batteries it fires up fine? If not, then the heater at the back. Glow plugs are easy on them ones lol.

Yup that's how it seems.

Not too concerned as it still starts when it doesn't want to start for me then I'll worry about the glow plugs (I hate the bastard bolts on the back of the valve covers)...
