New Need some help

I have a 2006 Ford F150 with a 5.4 V8 the other day I was heading to work and lost all my dash lights gauges heater the truck still ran and I made it to work once I got to work I put the truck in park and stepped out to unlock the gate when I got back in my truck I could not shift it out of park and into drive shortly after the truck died, after work I tried to start it and got some noise and clicking from the starter I got another truck and jumped it and it started but still would not shift into gear and I still no dash and shortly after starting it died and the battery was dead again I have no clue any help with this would be great Thank you.

I'd start by looking at the ground points in both kick panels (particularly the passenger side, where all the electronics are).

Thanks for the tip I looked at the ground wires and they looked ok I'm not sure what else to look for.
