Welcome....post some pics....we love pics.

i have known the truck for the last 4 previous owners. it has had the 460 the whole time. it came out of calgary. in not sure when it was converted.
it has come down with a few anoying issues. no gauge cluster lamps. signal lights only work sometimes, speedo not at all, and ugly house carpet interior. i have collected the parts to covert to propane. once the issues get solved and the propane conversion gets done, ill sell the dodge. (keeping a 460 fed on gasoline is too expensive)

Where are you in Red Deer? If you need help in in troubleshooting,I'm pretty sure I can help.

Who owned it in Calgary ?

I lived there for 52 years and Innisfail the last 8.

Do you have the new carpet for it ?

I'm not an expert at pulling someone out of mud, but I don't think I'd gun it with a bunch of slack.....maybe someone else can school me on how to pull someone out....smilieFordlogo

^^^It's called a snatch, can be dangerous without the right equipment and completely depends on control as well. Can't view the vid at work, but it is a pretty common technique.

Oh wow....this is common Ben? Where do you hook the line to? Somewhere attached to the frame, like a trailer hitch or something.

In the video, the pulled something off from the stuck rig where it was attached.

I had no idea. :wasntme:

The fire (Slave Lake) was about 300 miles north.
