need help

I broke the gear shifter handle on the column and I am not real sure how to replace it, I am guessing I will have to pull the steering wheel, I have done this before on a different Bronco to replace the actuator rod,but not too sure about this.

I believe the entire gear shift assembly detaches from the column fairly easily on the gen 8-9 trucks. What year is your truck?

Yeah it should be fairly easy. Just pull the cover off the column and it should be fairly obvious on how to remove it. Blacksnapon might be able to provide you with some exploded diagrams of the column + shifter mechanism.
