My New Ride 91 F350 7.5 5 speed 4wd

Soo Ive been gone a long time. Been super busy lately. Anyway last week I picked up a new rig. 91 F350 SCLB XLT Lariat 4x4 7.5 with a 5 Speed. Has about 140k on it. Is super clean other then no clear coat. I will have pics eventually. Anway ive started gettin it up to my code. The speedometer doesnt work, so the mileage doesnt work. Is there issues with the speedo head or the cable could have just broken? I havent gotten to pull the cluster out yet to see what the prob is. Figured id pop in and ask.

Nice Truck. I think the 250's of that era look better than the 150's. As far as the speedo cable, I have an '89 with 95K and no issues with the speedo. In fact it agrees exactly with the GPS.

The F250 and F150 are the same body. The Bronk-F350 for that matter all look the same. Yea i gotta pull the cluster and see whats the deal.

Yes, they are the same body. I think the stance of the 250 makes the body look better.

Good buy! A good scrub down and a layer of wax will make it look nearly brand new. Congrats!

Truck will be gettin a paint job like all my Ford truck restos, lmao. The F250 sits too low for me plus you get that goofy tbb. Thats why I got the F350 gets me the D60 up front.

I think it has a Dana 50 up front? Sorry, my mistake, you have 350. The 250's of that era have the Dana 50.

TTB in an F350. I didnt even know they existed. Yea A D60 up front. The D50 is the TTB.

So I did a massive amount of work to the truck tonight. Finished up the gangster exhaust till I get the headers and the rest. Did Loaded front calipers, hoses, all the brake lines, rear wheel cylinders, fixed whoever messed up the rear adjusters, they were turning the wrong way(if they even turned) LMAO

Tomorrow night is Master Cylinder, Booster, and maybe some sensors or coolant flush/thermo

More work done to the truck, calipers,pads,all brake lines,all brake hoses, wheel cyls, master cyl, alternator, changed some fluids, removed rack and boxes, cut exhaust off. I just got the new drilled and slotted rotors in, used hubs(1 of mine is stuck locked and missing the twist cap, yes it can still be twisted but in free its still locked, and i couldnt get a cap) will be doin the axle shaft u joints while im at it, and maybe bearings also if they dont look good.

Yea ill take a pic tomorrow. Was gonna do it all today but I blew the clutch line or the slave so now its sittin in front of my garage lol
