My New Avatar April 17 2011

[Mil1ion]

The new avatar is photo of my Dad (age 46) in May of 1964 on the 7th hole of the local city golf course the day he got his one and only 'Hole in One" 200 Yards with a 3 iron while 3 men were putting out. I was 13 and dreaded the thought of 3 guys starting fight with him.

Instead ...They were thrilled for him !

Tomorrow Apr 18th he would have been 93.

I had bragging rights though at age 22 when I got my first Hole In One at Banff Springs Golf Course 148 yard par 3

then a 2nd one on a blind hole par 4.

Because no one (especially TV cameras) saw it drop, we assumed it was in the forest I tried to go over.Then after hitting a second ball onto the green It was realized by one of my fellow golfers found it in the cup.

Sorry for the rant the post was meant to be about my Dad.

I just realized when I looked closer the Senior Care home showing in the background of this photo is where his older sister is spending her last days is living. She is presently 94 may hit the 95 mark in Sept

ps: I used to entertain the old people there. Sing dance and Play guitar
