Monte Carlo turn signal problem?

I am posting this question for a friend.

1977 Monte Carlo with 194 original miles. This car is brand new!

When the turn signals are switched on for the drivers side, they work fine. When the passenger side turn signals are switched on, the bulbs glow, but stay solid?

I have a few ideas, but have not taken a look at the car yet. Maybe someone can shed some "light" ha ha....

I am guessing that the relay has a problem, or there is a bad ground somewhere, causing current to back feed and power up the bulbs..

Bad flasher maybe

A bad ground would be my guess.

Had a bad ground at the Passenger front bulb socket, replaced it and them, and now we are good to go.
