Tornado in Laurie, but didn't make it across lake. Got some hail, but still fine.

I was in KC when the tornados were going over... they were not very strong, but got everyone scared....


One touched down briefly just north of Holden, where I live.

then I heard about Sedalia getting hit... At least no casualties yesterday...

here's a video but it's mainly for the audio of the hail hitting at work yesterday. The section I'm in has a metal roof so it sounds worse than it is but it still gives you an idea of how hard and fast it was coming down.

it appears ok, mostly pea to marble size hail with a few bigger chunks mixed in.
