Mercury Capri XR2?

Anyone have any thoughts/opionions on the Mercury Capri XR2? Digging around online I can find some basic stuff (built in Australia, turbo'd/intercooled, etc.), but not a whole lot.

Is that like the old "Merkur" XRsomething from the late 70's/early 80's? Fords version of the ricer, before there even was a ricer.......... ahead of they're times.

Nah, it's an early 90s Aussie car that made it to the US in Mercury form. This particular one is a '94.

Except they were cool- and now worth amazing amounts of money. Especially the last gen.
