Is there anybody here that can order parts?

I am having trouble finding:

F65Z7210BC - transfercase shift mechanism (not the lever in the cab, but the lever that is bolted to the transmission.

and:

XL3Z7B051AA - the linkage that connects the above part to the transfercase.

Assuming these are the correct part numbers (you didn't say what you're working on, :rotz: so I cannot verify), you can order your own parts.

F65Z-7210-BC .. T/C Shift Lever / Available from Ford.

MSRP: $109.98 // PARTSGUYED.COM price: $79.19.
--------------------------------------------------
XL3Z-7B051-AA .. T/C Control Rod / Available from Ford.

MSRP: $20.15 // PARTSGUYED.COM price: $14.51.

PartsGuyEd = Ed Olson, parts manager of Horizon Ford in Seattle WA

Ed is a sponsor on t'other site, but anyone can order parts from him whether one is a member of a Ford truck site...or not.

Go to his website to find out how to order.

Note: Ed is recovering from a stroke, but his partsguys are taking/filling orders.

Yes, those ARE the correct part numbers that I need. My dealer said they were unable to get them.

I had done a search and found Tousley Ford that allowed ordering over the internet, with prices of 72.59 and 13.30.

I was just wondering if there was a better route to go. I did not give a vehicle application because the vehicle they are made for, I do not have. ;)

Why? I ran both part numbers on the in-house Ford Dealer Parts Locator System, both are available.
Ford parts depots have 80 levers, the dealers have another 30. The Memphis TN parts depot has 682 of the rods!

That's cheaper than PartsGuyEd charges.

What better route? I doubt you'll find a better price anywhere / And, because I can find out...and you cannot...

Dealer net cost for the: lever is $65.99, for the rod is $12.09 / And...I can give you the name/address/phone number of EVERY FoMoCo Dealer that stocks the parts.

I just thought it would be good to see what other options were available.

I have no idea why the dealer said that. Maybe they were just in a "not wanting to help the potential customer" mood. ;)

Thanks for the help. :)
