lighting problem

Last night i was driving home and my dash lights went out. Went I got home I also noticed my taillights were out. Then I tried to shut off my headlights and they won't go off unless I unhook the battery. Anyone have a solution to this problem? My truck is a '99 F-150. Headlights are manual. Thanks for any input.

The only place that all of those issues are common is the headlight switch. Thats the best place to start.
