Left Turn signal affecting Overdrive

I have a 1994 F150 XLT 5.0 4x4 with 119,xxx miles. I am having trouble with the overdive shutting off when I use the left turn signal. This does not happen when using the right turn signal...only the left. I just replaced the turn signal switch/lever with a brand new one. Problem still persists. When replacing the switch, I checked the wires in the column to ensure no wire breaks/pinches that may cause a problem. I saw no evidence of any issues. HELP!!!

Added info about my truck:
I have had issues with the speedo jumping/tranny not shifting properly so I replaced the ABS Speed Sensor on the rear differential. Replaced the TPS sensor. Tranny was replaced in 2011 with a re-manufactured from Jasper. Replaced the clock spring. Still having trouble with speedo jumping around at higher speeds (40+ mph) and tranny shifting issues. I am getting ready to do an instrument cluster swap so I can replace the PSOM (which should hopefully solve my speedo/tranny prob).

For the life of me, I cannot figure out why the left turn signal is affecting the overdrive. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Thanks!

Check if you have something tied to the left turn, like a third light

If the brakelight comes on for some reason (like a short with the left turn) the brakelight shuts off the overdrive.
